Tout d'abord un sachet brodé au petit point et contenant des pétales de roses provenant de Bulgarie.
First, a little cushion, stitched with petit point and full of rose petals from Bulgaria.
Le savon vient quant à lui de Grèce.
The soap comes from Greece.
Mais j'ai aussi reçu un superbe coupon de tissu d'une ancienne manufacture russe "Trekhgornaya manufactura" et un galon.
I also received a beautiful piece of cloth from an old Russian factory "Trekhgornaya manufactura" and a braid.
Et cette poupée, n'est elle pas ravissante? Elle est appelée Zernovushka (zerno signifiant grain) : traditionnellement elle est remplie de graines de sarrasin que l'on change tous les ans. Les vieilles graines sont alors plantées. Comme c'est un porte-bonheur, je lui est trouvé une place de choix dans mon salon.
And this doll, isn't it lovely? It is called Zernovushka (zerno meaning grain): Traditionally it is filled with buckwheat and refilled each year with fresh seeds. The old one are then planted. As a lucky charm, I found it a place in my living room.
Quant au fil de lin, il est utilisé pour la dentelle ou la broderie.
The linen thread is used for lace or embroidery.
Je ne suis jamais allé à Moscou mais ce doit être une très belle ville!
I've never been to Moscow, but it must be a very beautiful city!
